Ordering is easy
Check our availabilty then contact us via our contact page letting us know what you would like. We will then confirm your order and send you details of how to pay.
Receiving your order
You can collect from the farm on Fridays between 4pm and 6.30pm or whilst our shop is open on Saturdays from 9.30 till 1pm.
As our ethos is to support shopping locally, we don’t ship our products. Instead we request that you search for your nearest farm shop and support that family farm instead.
Coloured Ryeland Mutton
Coloured Ryelands are a native breed of sheep. Until a few years ago they were on the rare breed watch list however due to their gaining popularity they are no longer in danger of vanishing from our countryside.
They are a slower maturing animal and therefore fell out of popularity with todays commercial breeders but this trait lends itself to great flavour.
Mutton is an animal who is over 2 years old. Lived on grass land its whole life, the flavour is rich and deep. Cooked slowly it makes an amazing sunday roast treat, the best tasting shepherds pie, and outstanding burgers for your BBQ.
